Baldwin No. 54 Currently Available

Baldwin makes a crisp, dry cider with a fruity note. Baldwin apples originated in Wilmington, Massachusetts in circa 1740. It became a prized apple for the making of hard cider. This versatile apple (it’s a pretty good pie apple as well) had excellent storage and shipping qualities which contributed to its popularity. For many years it was the most popular apple in the New England and New York; unfortunately, a harsh winter in 1934 destroyed many established orchards. Drink a glass of Baldwin and contribute to the comeback of one of New England’s premier heirloom cider apples. Pressed October 25, 2017. Currently available in our tasting room for $15.00 a bottle.
